This series will showcase the skills you can use in all types of projects. Each week will be an overview of the topic and a focused sample. Week 1: Hems Week 2: Buttonholes and buttons Week 3: Zippers Week 4: Pleats and Gathers Week 5: Facings and Linings Week 6: Pockets (welts) Knowledge of how to thread/set up a machine is preferred. (This is not an introduction to sewing) Tuition includes all supplies, but students who own sewing machines are encouraged to bring them. A limited number of machines are available; if you do not own a sewing machine, please reserve one as early as possible. NO CLASS ON JUNE 4TH
