Have you ever wondered how an artist chooses to paint, sculpt or build their work? Have you wanted to begin an art discipline but don’t know where to start? Learning the basic elements of design can be an easy, fun way to begin or improve your artwork in any medium. The elements of design are: line, shape, space, form, color, value and texture. In this workshop, through a series of exercises, we will explore the relationship of shapes within a set space and how we perceive that relationship. We will look at classic works and discuss their composition. We will cut, paste, trace, color and compose. No experience necessary. Materials will be provided just bring a sense of play
